On November 5th, 2006, in the middle of the night, a thread was started in the forums on Fazed.net.
The premise was simple; a system was devised to allow users of the forum to anonymously send in confessions. Things they had done and now regret, past events in their lives, and simply things that needed to be said in the open. After a period, the received confessions were posted to the thread, and comments flooded in.
Five months later, the thread featured its 15,000th post, and exploded from there. To ensure that confessions would continue, this website was created.
The online confessions herein are raw, unedited, and frequently disturbing. Viewer discretion is recommended for all confessions.
Despite the perversity of many confessions, a few offer hope; they can be touching, profound, and sometimes affirming. In truth, both extremes are represented here, and it is hoped that the reader will come away with some level of catharsis.
